Welcome, to a conversation about growing women leaders through mentoring and community service. These times are new and there has definitely been a paradigm shift. We work harder and get paid less, which means less time for extras in our lives -- like community service. We use new communication systems and there is less face time with each other. Not all things new are good, but until we can shift to the middle again and include face time with our old friends and new friends, social networking through the Internet will have to do. Our mission is to come up with a strategic plan to grow women leaders who appreciate the need for women to continue the chain of being reformers and addressing the needs of today and tomorrow. I also would like to learn about the women who are heroes in your lives. We always need a little inspiration.
