a great speech! The idea that we are building and strengthening decision-making bodies by adding diversity to them is such a powerful thing. I'm researching the possibility of a project in my community to build capacity in women and new minnesotans to serve on boards - and diversity workshops for boards to assist them with welcoming and encouraging input from diverse groups. It's about making the boards better and giving everyone a voice at the table.
